Article: Art courtesy 101If you're having trouble getting commissions or finding people to do art for you, and you can't understand why, OR if you seem to be having bad luck with other artists via the results of your requests and paid art, here are a few things you can use to troubleshoot and pinpoint your problem.
TLDR: Scroll down the page. Stop every time you see a Q: and read the question. If it's not something you're seeking help for, go ahead and skip to the next question to avoid reading through a wall of text, trying to squint for keywords.

A: The best way to solve this is to go out into the community. Don't just ninja fave, leave comments and start conversation. The more people you know, the more likely one of them will decide that your art is just to their taste and send you commissions. Also, stock up your gallery as fast as you can. I can't draw!Okay, so I've been talking to a lot of people who want to use my concepts, lineart, etc. because they don't think they can make art on their own without taking it from someone else in one form or another. I've gotten really exasperated, but I struggled not to lose my patience and hear what they have to say. And surprisingly, I learned a WHOLE BUNCH of completely unexpected things from them about why they try to do their art with the use of existing art from more experienced artists.
