Thank you for posting this. You helped me with my female characters a lot, if you hadn't posted this then my female characters would be bland and unoriginal. So thank you again

Sure of course! There is an even more thorough hair tutorial in my gallery if you would like to take a look. It's in the 'tutorials' folder and it's 3 pages long.

I have thick and wavy hair and I guess depending on how thick your hair is, it clumps together.  Mine is just a synchronized wave pattern throughout and it's puffy.

My hair is just confused and sad, like.. . It's not sure if it wants to be a clown wig or a handful of electrical wires.

Why did it piss them off? O.o

:icondeskleaves:
Deskleaves Featured By Owner Apr 12, 2015  Professional Digital Artist
Because I'm white, and I can get away with it while blacks can't, and it's originally a black thing. It's a personal choice, really, and I did it for people I care about.

I saw this tutorial once a few years back and I have since memorized your tip regarding thickness and lines.
It was a piece of advice that I easily remembered. Thank you so much for that trick. You really helped me out with it :aww:
